Aquasport is a combination of aqua-aerobics, aqua-jam, aqua-kick's & boxes, Aqua-fitness, Aqua-pilates, Aqua-TaiChi and Aqua-Balance. Aquasport is fitness training and relaxation to music in the water. The muscle strengthening exercises you do in chest deep water improve your endurance, strengthen your muscles and boost your heart function. The heat of the water in combination with the buoyancy of the water and the exercises ensure that this sport is almost injury-free and the risk of overloading muscles and joints is small. Aquasport aims to increase endurance and to strengthen and stretch various muscle groups. One consumes 40% more energy in the water than when doing the exercises on the bank. Use is made of the music and various aids such as dumbbells, leg floats, flexybeams, sticks, balls, etc., making it a varied lesson every time!
